Yousif obtained his bachelor degree in law from Sharjah School of Law in 2008. He subsequently worked as a legal researcher in the Armed Forces.

Yousif worked in the Investigation Department in the Armed Forces for more than 18 years and has extensive experience in the laws, procedures, regulations and policies applied in the UAE. He joined Busit Advocates and Legal Consultants on obtaining his practicing certificate in 2010.
